About the Conference
The ArcticNet Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) is a meeting ground for world-class Arctic research. Every year, Arctic research leaders from across Canada and worldwide, along with their partners from Inuit organizations, northern communities, federal and provincial agencies and the private sector, convene to share knowledge, build relationships, and foster a strong Arctic research network.

Early Career Northern Researchers (ECNR) Annual Meeting
Each year, the Early Career Northern Researchers (ECNR) Annual Meeting, formerly known as Student Day, hosted by the ArcticNet Student Association (ASA), kicks off the conference. The ECNR Annual Meeting aims to provide hands-on learning to graduate students on a wide variety of topics, from how to prepare their first field work trip, to better understanding reconciliation within research. It is the perfect day for networking, asking field experts questions and learning useful tips to better understand Arctic research.

The ArcticNet ASM has been bringing the Arctic research community together since 2004.
Every three years, the Arctic Change Conference adopts an international focus, inviting the global community to bring diverse perspectives. Leaders in Arctic research discuss the emerging global challenges and opportunities arising from climate change and modernization in the circum-Arctic.
